Family medicine is the medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. The scope of care that Trinity Clinic family medicine providers give encompass all ages, genders, each organ system and every disease entity. Their knowledge of the patient, their family and community facilitates their emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion. When a referral to specialist is necessary, the family medicine provider remains the coordinator of the patient’s health care.
